A most enjoyable night was had by all, at The Frenchs Forest Lions Club 65th Anniversary celebration dinner on 1 June 2026.
Lion District Governor elect Peter Touzel recognised long-standing members: including John Diamond with a Lion Charter 65 years, Andy Stollwitzer (not present) a 35 years, Stuart Pengilley a 15 year and Neville Hudson a 10 year, Monarch Chevron Award. NSW M.P. Matt Cross thanked and awarded NSW Parliamentary Certificates to all the Clubs long standing members. John Diamond a Club founding member spoke of the Clubs 65 years of dedicated evolving services to the community, raising and donating significant funds to charities and those in need.
Northern Beaches Mayor Sue Hines thanked Members and volunteers working together, for their generous long standing contribution to the local community. Club President Marco Rosmalen thanked Members, partners, volunteers and donors, for their commitment and spoke of the Clubs current activities and future initiatives to grow the Lions Club membership and contribution to those in need.
It was an evening of good food and great company, sharing in the joy of the impact of the combined efforts of many, including valued long standing and new Members and volunteers.
